Walking Tour/Arusha Park
This is a great way to start your trip in Tanzania. After a long flight, this scenic walk provides not only the chance to stretch out the legs and get the blood flowing again but, it’s also an introduction to the Tanzanian way of life. During the walk through our village of Ngongongare, your guide will point out various plants and interesting facts along the way. After visiting a local coffee farm where an explanation on how coffee is grown, harvested and processed a traditional hot lunch is freshly prepared and served under a shady tree. To help digest the meal, the walk continues downhill through a shady endemic forest where Black & White Colobus monkeys or shy Blue monkeys may be spotted in the trees.
